Arlene Phillips for I'm A Celebrity? All the campmate rumours so far
I'm A Celebrity 2021 might not be setting up camp for at least another month, but the rumour mill has already begun with Arlene Phillips suggested as a potential contestant.
Ex-Strictly Come Dancing star Phillips is apparently headed for the I'm A Celeb castle this year and if the rumours are true, it would make her the oldest ever contestant at 78 after Stanley Johnson took part at 77 in 2017.
Phillips was one of the original Strictly judges and served six series on the panel, before being controversially dropped in favour of former show winner Alesha Dixon in 2009.
She is also well known for her dance career as the director of Hot Gossip and her choreography work in the West End, on Broadway and in film and TV.
As we wait to find out whether Ant and Dec will be saying bore da to Phillips when they return to Gwrych Castle for the coming series, we take a look at some of the other potential celebrities who could be facing down the bushtucker trials.
Jake Wood
EastEnders legend Jake Wood left his long-running role as Max Branning last year and has been trying some theatre work.
But with his run treading the boards about to end, the 49-year-old could be about to try a new experience in camp rather than heading back to Walford.
Talking to Good Morning Britain recently, he said: “Yes, I finish in mid October and I’ve made no secret about it, I’d love to do the jungle.”
Wood previously had a very successful stint on Strictly, so he's no stranger to reality TV and has a strong fanbase.
Nadiya Hussain
Former Bake Off winner John Whaite is currently wowing Strictly viewers from the dancefloor with Johannes Radebe, but could the tent's most famous baker be returning to reality TV, too?
Nadiya Hussain, 36, has admitted to regrets over turning down the I'm A Celeb call last year, leaving us wondering whether she could get a second chance.

She told The Guardian in 2020: “I got asked to do I’m A Celebrity this year, and a bit of me regrets not doing it.
“It’s just so cold in Wales: if I’m going to have cockroaches in my pants I’d rather it be in the sun, thanks. Still, I can’t help wondering what it would have been like.”
Perri Kiely
Diversity dancer Perri Kiely has taken on no end of TV challenges, including wins on both Splash! and Bake Off.
His dance mate Jordan Banjo has done the jungle before, and while he didn't exactly sell the experience, he certainly hasn't put Kiely off.
The 25-year-old told Digital Spy: “Jordan has been in the jungle, and I love that normally everyone comes out and they’re like, ‘Oh my god, it was the greatest experience of my life. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.’
“Jordan came out and was like, ‘That was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. Never send me back in there again.’ So I’ve got, like, two perspectives of it. But I’d like the challenge. So yeah, get me in there, why not?”
Louise Minchin
Long-time BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin left the famous red sofa last month to emotional farewells from her co-stars.
Now that she's freed up a little from her day job commitments, could she take inspiration from former co-anchor Dan Walker, currently competing in Strictly, and try her hand at reality TV?
Jade Thirlwall
With two thirds of Little Mix currently getting to grips with having a newborn, this might be Jade Thirlwall's best chance to step off the popstar treadmill for a few weeks and join the camp.
Thirlwall, 28, impressed viewers earlier this year with a star turn in the Bake Off tent and has said she wouldn't mind giving the I'm A Celeb challenges a go, either.

Asked whether she'd consider signing up, she told Heart Radio presenters Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston: "I'll try anything once me, do you know what I mean? I'll give it a crack.
"If something smells bad I won't put it in my mouth, but I am good at creepy crawlies."
Bob Voysey
I'm A Celeb loves a former reality TV star campmate, and with ex-Married At First Sight Australia stars popular castings in other shows Down Under, this year's MAFS UK crew could also find themselves in demand.
He might not have made it to the end of the marriage experiment, but by far the most popular star from the rebooted E4 show this year has been Bob Voysey.
The 26-year-old, fondly known as Big Bob, had a tough time when wife Megan Wolfe kissed another groom, but Bob's frequent on-camera tears and keenness to talk about his feelings could make him the perfect campmate for viewers to get behind.
