The 5 best shows in TV tonight: Tuesday 29 June

Many eyes will undoubtedly be on the England v Germany Euros match tonight come 5pm and the post match analysis that follows.

But for viewers not so inclined toward the sport, there's plenty of other things to watch.

This evening sees Susan Colman head down to Brighton on another seaside holiday, while Bake Off: The Professionals continues.

Chocolate week has rolled around again for the four teams left in this heat who tackle a secret challenge.

Their patisserie skills are put to the test as they must create a house of horrors-themed showpiece - but hopefully they don't have a nightmare assembling them.

Susan Calman's Grand Week By the Sea - 8pm - Channel 5

The comedian lands in Brighton in this second episode of the series where she's joined by Zoe Lyons.

She heads up the i360 viewing tower, has a game of volleyball and visits the toy museum at the south coast seaside.

A new series on US writer Ernest Hemingway starts on BBC Four, with the first episode looking at his childhood in Oak Park, Illinois.

The programme examines the biographical events of his tumultuous life while unpacking the myths around him.

It also features readings from stars including Jeff Daniels, Meryl Streep, Keri Russell and Patricia Clarkson.

The South Yorkshire Police tackle difficult cases of child-on-parent abuse in this episode.

There's a mother who asks the police to take her 15-year-old into custody after he damages their home while they are also despatched to a report of a son attacking his father for the second time in three days.

The series continues to chart the first term of District Attorney Larry Krasner and his reforms plans.
