In the wake of Black Lives Matter protests last year that were sparked by the murder of George Floyd in the US, the statue of slave trader Edward Colston was toppled from its plinth in Bristol and thrown in the city's harbour.

This documentary follows the response to the events of last summer, centring on Bristol's mayor, Marvin Rees, who was the first directly elected mayor of Black African heritage of a major European city.
