Nadine Coyle’s former bandmates have denied reports they formed a Whatsapp group in an attempt to ensure she was voted to do the worst Bushtucker Trials on I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.

Recent reports from The Sun newspaper claimed Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts were collaborating to get their “hated ex-bandmate eating testicles” while she was taking part in the hit ITV show.

But the singers have hit back at these claims, saying “this just isn’t true”.

Speaking to the MailOnline, Cheryl said: “We only want to see Nadine do well, and regardless of any differences we might have had, we will always all have love for each other.

“We did not enjoy watching her distressed when jumping out of the plane. And we don’t have time for group chats regarding the trials on the show!”

Walsh agreed, saying: “I felt really emotional watching Nadine jump out of the plane and texted Cheryl saying how hard it was to watch. I think she’s doing great in there.”

Elsewhere Roberts said she is supporting Coyle and hopes “she does well on the show”.

The report from The Sun is based on something a source that told the publication: “The girls have been watching the series and keeping up with what’s been happening.

“They’ve wanted to see what Nadine has been doing and saying about them.

“They have a group chat and thought it would be funny to vote for Nadine to do the Bushtucker Trials. It’s all a bit of a laugh.”

The claim comes after Coyle denied a rift with her bandmates on the show and called reports of a feud with Cheryl “fake news”.

The 27-year-old responded to a question from a fellow campmate about how she found being in a girl group, saying: “I like being in a girl band. I am one of three sisters and went to an all-girls grammar school so I’m used to being around girls.”
