Kanye West wants to change his name

Kanye West has said that he is considering changing his name to 'Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West'! And nobody is sure if he's joking or being serious.

The rap star-turned businessman is, according to Newsweek, furious with Forbes magazine for not designating him a billionaire. The business publication instead listed the rapper's net worth at a mere $240 million.

Not too shabby you might say! West told an audience at the Fast Company Innovation Festival, that he'd change his name if he had to - to get the recognition, he says, he's owed.

It appears that the real reason Kanye took exception to Forbes, is because the magazine didn't list his Yeezy show company, which is reportedly set to exceed sales of $1.5 billion.
