Celine Dion posts rare photos of her twins for 9th birthday

Celine Dion posted rare photos of her twin sons, Nelson and Eddy, on Instagram to commemorate their ninth birthday.

The singer took to the social media app on Wednesday to post the photos, sharing a touching message for her sons in the process.

"Double the laughter and double the love. Happy 9th Birthday, Nelson and Eddy!" she wrote in both French and English. "I'm so very proud of my boys. I love you! - Mom xx...."

Dion, who has described the twin boys as "very independent" in the past, shared them with her late husband, René Angélil, who died of cancer in January 2016 when he was 73. Their older son René-Charles, is 18 now.

The photos that the singer posted on Instagram give a very rare look at what her youngest kids look like, as she tends not to share many pictures of her sons publicly.

Celine Dion is currently on her first tour in a decade, the Courage World Tour.
