Tamer Hassan is reportedly gearing up to enter the Love Island villa and confront Anton Danyluk, who his daughter Belle is currently coupled-up with.

According to The Sun, the British actor - who is best known for playing the hardman in films such as Football Factory and The Business - is hoping to address why “disrespectful” Anton chose to kiss Anna Vakili during a previous challenge.

It’s also rumoured that Hassan may reunite Belle with her beloved dog, Lacey.

A few weeks ago, Anton left Belle in tears when he smooched Anna during a ‘Snog, Marry, Avoid’ task. Attempting to justify his decision to his fellow Islanders, Anton noted that Anna “is the best kisser in the villa,” then tried to “marry” Belle - but she wasn’t having any of it.

The pair later had a huge bust-up, with Belle telling the Scottish gym owner: "You’ve mugged me off, you have made me you made me feel like s**t.”

Just a day before their explosive row, Anton had rocked the boat by giving his number to a Mallorcan shop assistant when he, Jordan Hames and Tommy Fury were sent to pick up food supplies.

Talking about Anton’s antics to the aforementioned publication at the time, Hassan explained that “on the outside, Belle would not tolerate that behaviour.

"Anton is 100 per cent wrong for kissing Anna. It was disrespectful and disloyal, two of Belle's biggest hates. I am now doubting [his] feelings for Belle and that makes me an unhappy dad!

“I kept saying 'Anton, I dare you, I dare you,” he continued. “I thought ‘if you say anything that ain’t true or upset Belle, then mate I am coming in on a helicopter with a parachute and I am picking you up and taking you out’.”

Anton and Belle have since rekindled their romance, but that hasn’t stopped show producers from teasing that “anything could happen” when Hassan comes face-to-face with his daughter’s new beau.

"Bosses are thrilled he’s agreed to appear on the show - he’s a movie legend and they can’t wait to see what happens when he finally meets Anton,” a source said.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
