Spider-Man poster contains hilarious Photoshop fail

Look, film marketing isn't easy. There's loads to organise, and a lot of posters to approve. We've already seen London geography pedants criticising one poster, now, some Nick Fury ads have opened a whole new can of worms.

Captain Marvel seemed to fairly conclusively reveal the origin of Nick Fury's eye injury, but, according to the posters for Spider-Man: Far From Home, Fury's eyepatch has shifted from the left to the right (or is it the right to the left?).

Does that mean he's an imposter from the Spider-Verse?!

Of course, this was probably a case of a graphic designer who decided to flip an image to better fit the space he had to work with, not thinking about the universe-shattering repercussions of the move, but, still - it's funny that fans have spotted the error.

Speaking of alternate universes, it seems that Tom Holland really wants Doctor Strange to cameo in a future Spider-movie.

"I'm really wanting to do a team-up with Doctor Strange, because we're both New Yorkers and I just really like the idea of a science guy being teamed up with a guy who does magic, because it totally contradicts everything he knows," Holland explained.

"And I like the idea that there is real science that Peter Parker talks about, and then there's Doctor Strange gibberish, where he's like 'The time rift and the thing and the thing.' So it's kind of fun."

Maybe Doctor Strange will have a spell that'll fix Nick Fury's eyepatch in place for good - stranger things have happened in the MCU (not least Tom Hardy having a weird bath in a lobster bowl).

Spider-Man: Far From Home is in UK cinemas from 2 July.
