Stacey Solomon has revealed her new son is called Rex, as she took to Instagram to mock partner Joe Swash for complaining about sleepless nights.

Rex Toby Francis Swash was born just over two weeks earlier than expected on May 23rd and the the 29-year-old Loose Women presenter revealed he had been named after the dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Solomon announced on Instagram: "Due today, born 23.05.2019 on my Mummy's birthday. Rex because our boys think he sounds like a T-Rex. Francis is Joe's Nanna's name and Toby is my Nanna's name.

"Its taken us this long to announce the name because for some strange, probably hormone and post birth related, reason I didn't want to do it until his official due date.[sic]"

The TV presenter - who is also mother to sons Zachary, 11, and Leighton, 7, - also shared a video with her 1.8million followers teasing Swash, 37, for complaining he had been awake all night looking after the baby.

Solomon said: "Do you know what's worse that being delusionally [sic] tired is when your boyfriend has spent the entire day going, 'Ohh, I feel rough. I feel so tired today.'

"And I'm like, 'Aww, you okay?', she added sarcastically.

"In the meanwhile, every two hours I'm milking myself like Daisy the cow. And you're like this... [makes snoring noises.]"

Swash, who also has an 11-year-old son Harry from a previous relationship, insisted: "I'm going through this just like you are."

To which Solomon quipped: "You're just doing it in your dreams."

Solomon - who has won praise for sharing her raw and realistic post birth pictures on social media - also spoke about her "Pepperami nipples" as she documented her struggle with breastfeeding.

She confessed: "After not mastering the latch that leaving my boobs engorged and my nipples feeling like they'd been rubbed on sandpaper I think we are finally getting there."

Solomon added: "I just thought for anyone out there struggling or who struggled to breastfeed that it's perfectly OK, there's nothing wrong with you, and you're doing amazingly."
