Anthea Turner is looking for a man "to moan with, laugh with and have great sex with" for husband number three.

The former Blue Peter presenter split from second husband Grant Bovey in 2012 after he had an affair.

Turner, 59, told Best magazine: "Getting divorced from Grant was very, very tough. But I have not given up on love.

"I am dating, I am holding auditions. It sounds very Whitney Houston, but you have to make yourself the greatest love - learn to accept yourself, and then you can bring someone else into your life.

"I don't need someone to have kids with or help me buy a house. But I do want someone who's got my back, to moan with, laugh with, to have adventures and great sex with. And I know that person will come into my life."

The TV presenter - who was married to Bovey from 2000 to 2012 and to her former manager Peter Powell from 1990-1998 - published a book entitled How To Survive Divorce in 2017.

She said previously: "I personally think it's very important before you go back into any dating game that you're strong yourself.

"Probably, even though you always think you are, I am a much better person for having been on my own, for having re-organised my life and I think that's done me a favour."

Anthea - who has appeared in reality show Celebrity First Dates - admitted there were "lots of candidates" vying to be her new husband but feels she is "far too old" to use dating apps.

It was revealed in 2017 that Bovey has a profile on dating app Bumble. During his appearance on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 he admitted Turner "didn't deserve" the way he had treated her.
