'Killing Eve': Sequel to the novel that inspired the show published

Can't get enough "Killing Eve?" Luke Jennings' follow-up to "Codename Villanelle," the basis for the hit TV show, is out and potentially full of spoilers for the eagerly awaited second series.

Entitled Killing Eve: No Tomorrow the author has not let slip if the storyline will correlate with season two of the TV series, but there are likely to be parallels at the very least.

The first book, Codename Villanelle, was published in April 2018 and stars MI6 operative, Eve (Sandra Oh's character on TV), and assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer). No Tomorrow picks up right where the first novel finished, with Eve discovering a possible MI6 conspiracy involving her target.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, author Neil Jennings said that he worked closely with series creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge to ensure the show "entwined" with his ideas.

"Phoebe and I spoke regularly, dissecting Eve and Villanelle and their relationship," he said. "When Phoebe and I started working together, I'd send her endless screengrabs of outfits I thought Villanelle would go for."
