Lady Gaga shuts down Bradley Cooper romance rumours

Lady Gaga has put the record straight about her relationship with Bradley Cooper, after their Oscars performance of Shallow sent viewers and social media into a frenzy of speculation about a possible romance.

Speaking on US late night chat show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, the singer-turned-actress put romance rumours to bed - telling viewers that the whole thing was just part of the show. She told Kimmel that the performance was designed by Bradley to reflect the passion and intimacy of the song.

The star went on to slam social media as the 'toilet of the internet'.

A Star is Born has grossed $211 million in North America since its October release and another $215 million internationally. Warner Bros is due to release a new cut of the film with 12 minutes of previously unseen footage.
