BASE jump ends with a surprised spectator

This incredible helmet-cam footage features a sneaky BASE jumper making an epic leap from a fifty story office building in an undisclosed city in the United States.

He performers a huge double 'gainer' flip off of the building, falling nearly 300 feet before pulling his parachute.

Then things take a bizarre turn.

The jumper lands on a car park rooftop and totally surprises a man that is about to get into his car.

"Didn't expect to see you up here," says the old man.

The base jumper, who is likely to have known what he was doing wasn't strictly legal, responds with a laugh: "I was never here!"

The video then comes to an end as the pair give each other a high five!
