Iggy Azalea continued performing after dancer collapsed

When one of Iggy Azalea's backup dancers collapsed on stage and suffered a seizure during a concert in Brazil, the 28-year-old rapper kept on performing.

Backlash was swift and unforgiving.

"How can you see someone having a life-threatening emergency and continuing rapping (horribly) over their body", wrote one user on Twitter.

"She didn't even stop the song so they could make sure the medic was actually present", said another.

Azalea posted a message in response to the furure that read: "Sometimes I really feel exhausted by the world.

"It feels like anything I do becomes an opportunity for people to tell me why I'm s**t, why my music sucks, my clothes are ugly, why I don't matter or why I'm a horrible person.

"I'm worn down. The last four years are just me existing in a world where I can do nothing right and it's hard not to feel like "what's the point" and keep motivated."
