Movie moments you didn't know were improvised

Many of the most popular movies are usually made famous for memorable scenes that stick in the collective mind long after they've left the big screen.

But what you may not know is that many of those iconic scenes were not scripted but happened by accident.

Films like the Shining, Taxi Driver and even Star Wars were all given an extra edge by last-minute improv from the stars who deviated from the script.

One of the most famous, is Jack Nicholson in The Shining, where he played a caretaker who descends into murderous madness at a haunted hotel. In the scene where he tries to kill Shelley Duvall with an axe, the now famous line "Here's Johnny" was totally unscripted.

Find out which other films became famous for their unscripted scenes.
