'I'm a Celeb': Dec exposes Rita Simons rant over Noel Edmonds

Noel Edmonds has finally entered the jungle, and as an Emperor no less. And his arrival on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! has certainly ruffled more than a few feathers amongst the existing campmates.

Not only has he already clashed on camera with John Barrowman, but according to co-host Declan Donnelly, Rita Simons is also furious about his arrival.

On Thursday night’s I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp Donnelly revealed that Simons launched into a rant about Edmonds that wasn’t shown on camera.

“John (Barrowman) has already started to crack, and Nick (Knowles) is biting his lip. Rita wasn’t happy yesterday down at the trial. It wasn’t in the show tonight but when we were filming the trial, Rita had a go didn’t she?” Donnelly said.

“Noel and Harry were kind of talking amongst themselves, and she went ‘weren’t you two listening?!’ And we were like ‘woaah’,” he added.

Edmonds currently reigns the jungle as Emperor, and was able to choose who would take part in the latest task, which stunned the contestants. He also chose Harry Redknapp as his aide, which gave the football manager temporary immunity from the tasks.

And he’s already upset John Barrowman when he accused him of ‘scratching his groin,’ which the actor adamantly denied.

In fact, the Torchwood actor was so upset over the accusation that he took to the Bush Telegraph to vent.

“I know he was trying to make a joke and be funny but it didn’t land well with me and for that moment I’m probably being overly sensitive and it’s at this exact time that my husband would say I need a sandwich.

“It’s not his fault and I’m an adult, I know that, it was just that moment and some of us are feeling ‘arghhh;,” he said.
