How Charles, Diana and other royals are related

If all you had to go on was the royal couples from Game of Thrones, we wouldn't blame you for having a confused view of royal bloodlines.

In the real world though, it's not quite that bad. But Princess Diana and Prince Charles were actually distant relatives.

Both descendants of Henry the 7th... or 16th cousins once removed.

Just for some perspective, Henry the 6th died before Columbus even thought about coming to America!

But still, it just goes to show how important that Markle DNA is going to be for the royal gene pool.
