Matt Groening reacts to artists 'real-life' rendering of Homer Simpson
The Simpsons creator Matt Groening has weighed in with his reaction to a 3D artist's interpretation of Mr Homer.
The rather disturbing model of a semi-lifelike Homer went viral over the weekend and now the original cartoon artist has had his say on the imposing images.
According to recent reports, Groening seems unsettled by Miguel Vasquez's rendering. "That's exactly how I see Homer in my nightmares," Groening said of the 3D artwork that features Homer's small ears, thinning hair and stubble.

Other Twitter users reacted with similar horror:
The resemblance is uncanny except that cartoon Homer looks debonair whereas this one looks like he is going to murder my family and force me to watch
