David Lynch clarifies Donald Trump comments

Film director David Lynch has moved to clarify comments he made about Donald Trump.

Multiple publications picked up an interview the Twin Peaks creator had with the Guardian, in which he said Trump "could go down as one of the greatest presidents in history", the Independent reported.

Lynch, who supported Bernie Sanders during the American election primaries, insisted in a Facebook post the quote "was taken a bit out of context and would need some explaining".
