Paul Hollywood apologises for Nazi uniform photo

TV baker Paul Hollywood has apologised after he was pictured wearing a Nazi uniform.

The Great British Bake Off judge said the photos date from 2003 when he attended a TV comedy-themed party dressed as one of the Nazi characters from 'Allo 'Allo.

In a statement, he said: "I am absolutely devastated if this caused offence to anyone.

"Everyone who knows me knows I am incredibly proud of the efforts of those, including my own grandfather, who fought against the Nazis during the war."
