Woody Harrelson on his wife's reaction to his foursome

Actor Woody Harrelson has revealed what his wife thought after his infidelity was splashed across the press 15 years ago.

The American had a drunken foursome during a trip to London in 2002, which ended up being reported on in the tabloids.

In a new interview, Woody praised his wife Laura Louie, who he started dating in 1990 and wed in 2008, for her understanding.

He told the Hollywood Reporter: "Laura - this really gives you a sense of the depth of her compassion - what she said to me after finding out was, 'That must be really hard for you, to have this s*** exposed.'

"She just said that. Now that doesn't mean she wasn't upset."

The couple managed to work through it and are still happily married to this day.
