Sean Paul: I don't want to sing for Simon Cowell

Sean Paul has admitted he wouldn't fancy singing his raunchy track Shake That Thing to X Factor boss Simon Cowell.

The dancehall star appeared on the talent show at the weekend for a performance of Rockabye, his song with Clean Bandit and Anne-Marie.

Asked his advice for the contestants during an AOL BUILD interview, he confessed that singing to Simon isn't top of his list of things to do and said he would rather look at former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

"[Nicole] is easier to look at and sing to for me," he said.

"I don't want to sing Shake That Thing to Simon."

Sean also admitted he would not like to be a judge on X Factor as he doesn't like delivering critiques of other people's skills in public.

"It's hard as an artist to be in front of everybody and [have] everybody else critique your work," he said.

"I like to be in the studio and be like, 'Well no, I think that's crappy!'

"I [prefer] face-to-face than in front of everybody."
