John Legend defends wife Chrissy Teigen over that major AMAs wardrobe malfunction

John Legend is not too bothered that his wife Chrissy Teigen accidentally flashed at the American Music Awards.

He said that the couple were both very careful with her super-revealing Yousef Akbar gown but photographers still got an eyeful.

He told American TV show Extra: "Honestly, we were worried there might be that moment, so we checked it. We were watching her walk. I was like, "It looks good. Looks like all is well."

"But obviously, if a photographer is resourceful enough they can find that one moment ... the photographer had to get the exact perfect angle."

John added he was a big fan of the racy gown and was not bothered about the flashing incident, saying: "I love the dress and I thought it was great.

"If people are enticed or excited by that, that's their thing. It's just a moment in time that was captured on film."

Chrissy has already given her own hilarious response to the incident, posting this pic on Instagram with the caption: "#AMAs! love you so so so much @jenatkinhair @1maryphillips @monicarosestyle @kimmiekyees (apologies to anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha) dress is #yousefakbar and shoes are @dsquared2 and laser hair removal is @sevlaseraesthetics."

She also shared this epic meme or herself with the caption: "Hey baby. Do those legs go all the way up?" - dead. Thank you @qween.memes #familyguy #spongebobsquarebodinaworldofbooty."

Chrissy gave birth to the couple's adorable first child Luna earlier this year.
