Actress Shelley Duvall has revealed her struggles with mental illness in an interview with US television personality and psychologist Dr Phil.
Shelley is best known for her turns in the horror movie classic, The Shining, and for playing Olive Oyl opposite Robin Williams' Popeye in the 1980 film version of the comic strip.
In a preview of her interview with Phil McGraw, the 67-year old claims Robin, who died in 2014, is alive and "shape shifting".
She also tells Dr Phil that she is "very sick" and needs help.
The show's website says Shelley has been living "a life of near isolation".
The interview is set to air on Friday.
