We know when Doctor Who fans will get a sneak peak at the Christmas special


Doctor Who fans will get a first look at the show's Christmas special during BBC Children In Need.

The sneak peek of the festive episode, entitled The Return Of Doctor Mysterio, will air during the annual charity appeal show.

The clip will see the Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi and Nardole, played by Matt Lucas, team up with an investigative reporter played by Charity Wakefield and a masked vigilante played by Justin Chatwin to defend New York from a terrifying alien invasion.

The hour-long episode, which was written by Steven Moffat and filmed in Cardiff, also stars Adetomiwa Edun, Aleksandar Jovanovic and Logan Hoffman.

Steven has previously said: "I've always loved superheroes and this Christmas Doctor Who dives into that world.

The clip will air during BBC Children In Need's Appeal Show on November 18 at 7pm on BBC One.
