Southampton postal worker Roger Kearney is currently serving a life sentence for the 2008 murder of Paula Poolton.
Kearney was having an affair with the 40-year-old, who was found stabbed to death in the boot of her black Peugeot, parked outside Swanwick railway station in Hampshire.
But Kearney says he is innocent - and Conviction: Murder At The Station, BBC 2´s new true crime documentary, follows a team of experts, including Louise Shorter who is the head of specialist charity Inside Justice, as they investigate alleged miscarriages of justice.
It made for a compelling piece of TV, especially because it reminded everyone of the hugely popular American podcast Serial - which looked at a case of a high school senior who was murdered.
Yep, everyone was gripped by the investigations in the documentary.
People had so many questions about the evidence used in the case - no forensic evidence was ever found linking Kearney to the car where Poolton's body was found.
And they're really intrigued for the second part of the show next week...
