Poldark fans slam new star's 'dodgy' Scottish accent

Poldark viewers have complained of being unable to understand new character Captain McNeil's Scottish accent.

Bristolian actor Henry Garrett made his first appearance in the BBC One drama on Sunday night but was faced with a deluge of complaints over his attempts at Scottish pronunciations.

One viewer said it sounded as if he was speaking "another language".
