James Corden says he was 'kidnapped' by a group of teenage Carpool Karaoke fans


James Corden claimed he was "kidnapped" recently in London by four teenage Carpool Karaoke fans.

The 37-year-old Brit has found success stateside presenting The Late Late Show, which features the viral singing segment where he has been joined by famous names from Adele to Michelle Obama.

But he revealed that a trip back to his native London saw him "forced" into a car and made to sing along to the radio by a bunch of 18-year-olds.

He told The Wrap: "I was crossing the street in London a few weeks ago and there were these four kids. They were like 18, 19.

"They sort of forced me to get in the car. They all had their camera phones out and we were just singing along to the radio.

"I was like, 'Am I being kidnapped?'."

Luckily, he didn't seem too shaken by the incident.

His next guest on Carpool Karaoke is Britney Spears, who looked very happy to be sharing a car with James - no kidnapping required!
