Former Hollyoaks actor Danny Mac is the seventh celebrity to sign-up for Strictly Come Dancing.
The 28-year-old joins the six-strong list of celebrities already announced including former Eternal member Louise Redknapp, Ed Balls, Will Young, Laura Whitmore, Melvin Odoom and sports presenter Ore Oduba.
Johnson played Mark "Dodger" Savage in the Channel 4 soap from 2011 to 2015.
He has also starred in musicals including Wicked and Legally Blonde.
He said: "I first danced at college when I was 18. That was the first time I'd ever worn a pair of tights or a dance belt! I worked hard at it but it's safe to say when I graduated all my dance gear went in a bag in the loft and hasn't been seen since!"
The actor also revealed he is slightly terrified of the Strictly judges too.
He explained: "I am terrified of them all! I get judged every day of my life as an actor so I am used to it, but I hate not being able to do something and they are going to be the ones to tell me - in front of millions!
"I do like a bit of tough love though so I will take it and deal with it... I hope."
