Singer Katherine Jenkins and her husband Andrew Levitas are producing a new children's TV show with SuperTed creator Mike Young.
Symphony Street is a musical, animated show for 4 to 8-year-olds, which Welsh channel S4C is reportedly interested in commissioning.
As well as choosing the music for the show, the 36-year-old mezzo-soprano will also voice a character and said that her new daughter Aaliyah inspired the product.
Neath-born Katherine said: "I've been in love with classical music for as long as I can remember, and it has been through this musical prism that I've had the good fortune to learn so many of life's lessons.
"Music is the international language: it doesn't see colour, race, class or creed, and the lessons learned through it are easily translated into everyday life.
"It was with this in mind, that my husband and I set out to create a fun and exciting musical platform to teach our own young daughter."
Katherine and director Andrew, who married in 2014, have been working with children's entertainment studio Splash Entertainment and its chief executive Mike.
The SuperTed creator said: "The chance of working with iconic talents such as Katherine and Andrew on a well-crafted, fun and music-driven children's show, to be produced in Wales, was too good to miss out on.
"Symphony Street is a fresh, funny and innovative series that will be designed for the media platforms they now frequent. It's a win win!".
