The official trailer for Marvel's new Netflix series Luke Cage has finally been unveiled.
The forthcoming programme, which is clearly full of plenty of action and drama, sees Mike Colter take on the leading role after he first appeared in Marvel's other Netflix series Jessica Jones.
Based on the original comic books, Luke Cage is given super-strength and unbreakable skin after an experiment goes wrong.
The story follows Luke as he becomes a fugitive in Harlem, New York, trying to rebuild his life, confront his past and fight for his city.
The trailer is fast-paced and hints at what the series will be like, and it looks like a departure from Jessica Jones and Netflix's Daredevil, another Marvel effort.
Also making an appearance alongside Mike is Rosario Dawson, who is taking on the role of Claire Temple.
Also appearing in the series will be Mahershala Ali as Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes, Harlem's Paradise nightclub owner, Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard and Simone Missick as Misty Knight.
Understandably, fans of all things Marvel have gone giddy upon the trailer's release, with Luke Cage trending on Twitter for hours.
Luke Cage arrives on Netflix on September 30.
