Kanye and Drake hint at joint album and fans cannot contain themselves

Hip-hop heavyweights Kanye West and Drake have hinted that they are teaming up for an album.

Kanye made a surprise announcement as he performed on Monday at OVO Fest, an annual festival hosted in Toronto by Drake.

He asked the crowd: "Toronto, I got one question for you. Is y'all ready for this album?"

Stopping the music, he added: "I wasn't talking about Pablo. I wasn't talking about Views. I wanna ask y'all right now: Are y'all ready for this album?"

He pointed at Drake, who joined him on stage and pointed back.

Kanye released The Life of Pablo in February, while Drake's Views has dominated the charts since its April release.

Earlier this year, Drake had hinted at a collaboration, telling Zane Lowe on Beats 1 that he and Kanye "were supposed to do a mixtape together, album together".

"Maybe we'll get that done," he added.

Needless to say, people are a little bit excited.
