Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth make reunion 'official' as they post sweet snaps of each other online
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been back together for quite some time, but they have finally appeared to made it official in the most important of ways: on social media.
The singer, 23, shared a sweet snap of her Australian actor partner, 26, on Instagram on Monday, cuddling up to her adorable pet dog.
Along with the image - also shared with her 30.2 million Twitter followers - the smitten singer gushed: 'So much love in one pic...'
And Liam reciprocated, posting his own image of his lovely lady on his Instagram and Twitter pages, showing her standing in the mud in the background behind a pig.
With her peroxide blonde hair visible in the distance, Miley was also typically clad in a pair of little red shorts and a complementary red printed shirt, a beloved item of hers that she has been seen wearing on more than one occasion.
The Hunger Games hunk joked that it was "just another day at the office".
It was the first time they have been seen on each others' social media timelines since reportedly rekindling their relationship last year, seemingly finally confirming that yes, they are officially back on.
Miley and Liam first met on the set of their soppy 2010 rom-com The Last Song (back when the singer still resembled her former alter-ego Hannah Montana) and they announced their engagement in 2012. Liam was 22 at the time, and Miley was 19.
They split in September 2013, but rumours of their reunion swirled at the end of 2015 when Miley joined Liam and his family in Australia for New Year's Eve.
While the couple have yet to officially confirm their reunion - or the constant speculation that they are engaged once again - Liam did address their split during an interview with GQ in May this year.
"Of course it was hard, man," he said of their very public break-up.
"But at the time we were going in different directions and it's just what needed to happen. We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time -- we both needed that."
