His mother and father, Irina and Viktor, took out a full page in The Hollywood Reporter expressing their gratitude for the support they have received and saying Anton would have been surprised by how many people were affected by his death.

It said: "Thank you to all of you who have sent flowers and gifts, for your condolences and kind words and to all who came to celebrate the life of our dear son, Anton.

"We are deeply grateful for your unconditional love ... He would be surprised at how many hearts and souls he touched.

"Thank you very much."

The actor died on June 19 after his Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled down his driveway and he was pinned against a letter box pillar and a security fence.

The Star Trek cast, including John Cho and Zachary Quinto, director JJ Abrams and many other celebs paid tribute following his death.
