Harry Potter actor Matthew Lewis returns to London theatre in new play Unfaithful
Harry Potter actor Matthew Lewis returns to the stage in the London premiere of new play Unfaithful.
The 27-year-old will be ditching his schoolboy image as Neville Longbottom to play a young man having an affair with an older woman in the black comedy about infidelity by Irish playwright Owen McCafferty.
Heartbeat's Niamh Cusack and The Borgias co-stars Ruta Gedmintas and Sean Campion also star in the play about two unhappy couples whose crossed paths bring their relationships to the brink.
Directed by Adam Penford, it will have a limited six-week season at pop-up venue Found111, the original site of the Central Saint Martins School of Art.
Unfaithful was previously staged at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2014, where it won rave reviews.
Matthew has found success on the stage after Harry Potter in Verdict and Our Boys.
Unfaithful runs from August 25 to October 8.
