Elbow star Guy Garvey helps pen new Cold Feet theme song

Elbow lead singer Guy Garvey and I Am Kloot bassist Peter Jobson have penned a new theme song for the revival of Cold Feet, ITV has confirmed.

The collaboration, titled The Rover Returns, happened after one of the show's stars James Nesbitt asked the two musicians to write a song for the new series when he appeared on Chris Evans' Radio 2 show.

The comedy drama followed the lives of three Manchester couples, played by original cast members James, Robert Bathurst, Helen Baxendale, Hermione Norris, Fay Ripley and John Thomson.

The show ended with James' character trying to come to terms with the death of his wife, played by Helen.
