Miranda star Tom Ellis revealed that there are plans to bring the beloved series back.
The 37-year-old starred as restaurant owner Gary Preston, who married long-time best friend Miranda (played by Miranda Hart) in the final episode of the BBC One comedy.
Tom, who currently stars in Lucifer, hinted that a little bundle of joy could be the next adventure for the odd couple.
He told Magic Radio: "It's been put to bed for a while, but I think we might revisit it at some point.
"There's no time frame, but we sat down at Christmas and talked about it, she needed a break away from it but I think there is more story to be told at some point...with Miranda and Gary now married and the potential for a family. So watch this space."
He has previously said that a movie could be on the cards, following other successful big screen adaptations like Mrs Brown's Boys.
He told RadioTimes.com that Patricia Hodge would make an "oh my good Lord, overbearing" grandmother.
He added: "I hope I haven't got myself in trouble now though. Miranda's like 'What? I've got to write it now!'"
