The first season of Narcos ended with Pablo Escobar's escape from his self-built prison above Medellin, La Catedral.
Netflix has finally announced that season two will be dropping on September 2 this year, where we'll likely see the final stages of drug kingpin Escobar's life.
The first 10 episodes progressed incredibly quickly, covering pretty much a decade of Escobar's life, and showing how one man from Colombia's slums earned the love of his people - for a time - and became one of the richest men in the world.
We've already witnessed Escobar doing some heinous things - and as the American and Colombian authorities close in on him the action is only likely to increase.
September 2, make a note.
