Indiana Jones fans can breathe a sigh of relief - Steven Spielberg has promised fans that he won't be killed off in his fifth movie.
The whip-cracking explorer (played by Harrison Ford) will be back on the big screen in 2019.
After Harrison's other well-known alter ego, Han Solo, met a sticky end in the new Star Wars movie, there have been some concerns for his future.
But Steven told The Hollywood Reporter: "The one thing I will tell you is I'm not killing off Harrison at the end of it."
Harrison first donned Indy's fedora in 1981´s Raiders Of The Lost Ark, and played the character three more times with his last outing in 2008´s Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.
The director has refused to spill the beans about the new film but he did say he was "super-excited".
"I think this one is straight down the pike for the fans," he said.
Harrison will be 77 when the fifth movie opens, but in the past he has said he doesn't think age is much of an issue for the archaeologist.
"I don't think there is any barrier to Indiana Jones being an old fart," he said on the Graham Norton show.
