Spice Girls enjoy Adele's tribute to the group

Adele Performs At The Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam

Adele had an impromptu Spice Girls moment at a recent gig - and the Wannabe singers loved it.

The chart diva referred to the 90s band during a show in the Netherlands, then as the crowd started cheering and calling out she said: "Oh stop it, I'm not a Spice Girl!"

She then sang a few bars of the Girl Power group's hit Spice Up Your Life while she did a dance.

A fan-made video of the moment made its way to real Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Mel C, who both retweeted it.

Geri Horner, formerly Ginger Spice, also shared the video and gave Adele the thumbs up.

Hello singer Adele has previously revealed she was a huge fan of the Spice Girls when she was growing up.
