Katy Perry's Twitter was hacked so she didn't actually tweet Taylor Swift

Katy Perry is Twitter's top user but that has not kept her safe from hackers.

The pop superstar's account reportedly sent abusive tweets to her 89 million followers, leaked an unreleased song and even directed a "miss you baby" message to Katy's rival Taylor Swift.

The hacked account also sent a tweet telling users to "haha follow @sw4ylol #hackersgonnahack", seemingly directing followers to the user taking responsibility for the hack.

The @sw4ylol account also reportedly shared an unreleased track from Katy on SoundCloud and still shows a takedown notification for Witness 1.3, after the song was removed from the service.

It also showed this tweet:

A spokeswoman for Katy has been contacted for comment.
