Cheryl goes slinky while Blake Lively opts for princess glam as they share the red carpet at Cannes
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Blake Lively heated up the red carpet in Cannes as they arrived for a screening of Juliette Binoche's new film.
Cheryl stunned in a blush-pink, colourfully embroidered gown which fluttered out into a fishtail hem as she took in Ma Loute (Slack Bay) at the 69th international film festival in southern France.
Wearing her brunette locks in a low ponytail, Cheryl complemented the hot pink, yellow, blue and green threading on her elaborate dress with diamond earrings and a bright fuchsia lipstick.
Blake, on the other hand, lived out every young girl's fairytale fantasy in a giant, ruffled pale blue gown that was more than a little reminiscent of Cinderella and hid her growing baby bump.
She matched the delicate beading on the chest with a cute bow headband and had jewels dripping from her wrists and ears.
Actress Blake and singer Cheryl ditched their respective partners, Ryan Reynolds and One Direction's Liam Payne, for the evening out.
But they were joined by actress and fellow L'Oreal Paris ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who rivalled Cheryl's glamorous look in a slinky, beaded gold dress and matching cape.
Juliette, who stars in the French seaside crime comedy, went for a dark navy silk dress.
Fortunately for organisers, none of the leading ladies had decided to flout the rules on heels as Julia Roberts had done on Thursday when she went barefoot on the red carpet.
