Radiohead's first album release in five years could be the surprise chart topper this week.
According to the Official Charts Company, their new album A Moon Shaped Pool has already sold 15,000 copies, despite only being released on Sunday.
Currently they are in third position on the chart, but if sales continue to soar, they could steal the top spot.
The alternative rock band released two songs, Burn The Witch and Daydreaming, online in the week leading up to the 11-track album's release.
Their last album, The King Of Limbs, was released in 2011. It followed the experimental digital release of In Rainbows in 2007, where fans were able to pay what they wanted for the download.
Another contender for the top album spot comes from British grime artist Skepta, who could taste a sweet victory if he manages to knock global superstar Beyonce off the top spot in the album chart.
Beyonce's new release, Lemonade, will battle it out against Skepta's fourth studio album, Konnichiwa.
Canadian rapper Drake's album Views drops to fourth position while Gregory Porter's Take Me To The Alley is a new entry for the fifth spot.
Prince's music is proving its staying power as his final studio album, HitnRun Phase Two, looks set to slot into 10th position.
The album has been available for download and to stream since last December but was released in hard copy last week.
On the singles front, Taylor Swift's musician beau, Calvin Harris and Rihanna look set to dominate this week's singles chart.
Their new collaboration titled This Is What You Came For has soared to the number one spot at mid-week, according to the Official Charts Company.
They report it is currently less than 1,000 chart sales ahead of the reigning chart topper, One Dance from Drake, which has held the top spot for four weeks in a row.
According to the mid-week figures, Drake will slip into second spot and third spot looks likely to be occupied by Justin Timberlake's new single, Can't Stop The Feeling.
Currently in fourth position is Sia with Cheap Thrills while Mike Posner's I Took A Pill In Ibiza is at number five.
