Claire Danes' glowing fibre-optic gown at the Met Gala is all our fairytale dreams come true
Claire Danes has now set the bar really high for how to slay it on the red carpet.
The 37-year-old actress literally lit up the red carpet as she arrived at the Met Gala wearing a gorgeous ballgown by Zac Posen - a nod to this year's theme Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.
The Homeland star arrived with her husband Hugh Dancy and the designer himself at the star-studded event in New York.
But the incredible show-stopping moment happened when the lights were dimmed and the dress looks like THIS!
For those curious as to just how Posen pulled off this jaw-dropping feat, the dress was made from fibre-optic organza material with 30 mini battery packs fitted inside the gown.
The designer also said the gown has no tulle underneath to hold the ballgown shape because the dress is actually holding its own structure.
Kind of reminds us of a certain fairytale beauty...
