The Chase's popular chaser The Beast, aka Mark Labbett, had a bad day at the office as he was roundly beaten by a group of contestants on the ITV game show.
In one of his worst performances ever in the final chase segment of the show, The Beast couldn't buy a correct answer - he just kept getting the questions wrong.
The 50-year-old trivia master managed to advance only six spaces out of a possible 16 in his attempt to catch the contestants and stop them winning big money.
However, the team of players walked away with £16,000 which will be shared between them.
"Well, there's no argument. That's the worst final chase performance ever," he said of his performance.
"It just shows with the power of push-back, if you're getting questions you don't know, you just got to sit back and just take it on the chin."
But, like a true sportsman, The Beast congratulated the victors saying they deserved the win.
Needless to say, fans of the Bradley Walsh-hosted show who posted about it on Twitter could barely contain their shock (and glee).
