The storyline will see their characters, Rhiannon Davis and Paul Cuthbert, involved in a major baby protection storyline.

Lucy-Jo said: "I've absolutely loved working on Doctors. The cast and crew were so welcoming. Rhiannon's story has been one of my favourites to film because it's been a huge challenge to play such an emotional and demanding role. Loved it."

Andy said: "Working on Doctors has been a great experience. Paul and Rhiannon's storyline is definitely a dark one but I can't wait for the audiences to see it."

The storyline will reach its conclusion in June.
