Stars of Game of Thrones hit the red carpet at the premiere of series six


The cast of Game of Thrones hit the red carpet in Hollywood to unveil the first look of the sixth series.

Stars of the fantasy epic including Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams and Alfie Allen attended the premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.

Fans lined Hollywood Boulevard for a glimpse of stars from the hugely successful series, which has also caused controversy over its nudity and violence.

Talk ahead of the latest series has centred on the character of Jon Snow, who was killed at the end of the fifth series, and whether he would reappear somehow.

The new series will begin on Sky Atlantic on April 24.
