English Bulldog’s Gentle Way of Playing With Puppies Brings All the Feels

If you need something to brighten up your day, this video of Uncle Buckey playing with his puppies for the first time will do it! Buckey's mom posted a video of his interaction with three adorable puppies at the end of April, and I could watch them all day!

What I love about this video is how gentle and passive Buckey is with the pups. The puppies aren't sure what to make of him, and he gives them their space. Watch until the end when the puppy named Jessie tries to show Buckey how big he is!

I could watch them all day! Buckey's fans all swooned over the cuteness. I was going to ask the same question that @Bee did, "How IN THE WORLD do you get ANYTHING done with all of this CUTENESS???!!!" @Colorado.LindsayK pointed out, "Adorable interaction between the chonky tater and the tater tots! LOL!" @Ancient Arrow wasn't wrong when they shared, "Hahah that jump spin Uncle does is ridiculously cute!" And one commenter spoke for all of us when they said, "I have puppy fever BAD now!!!"

Is An English Bulldog Right for Your Family?

Now that we all want an English Bulldog, let's talk more about the breed. I think it's safe to say that almost all of us thing they're adorable, but just because a dog is cute doesn't mean it will be a good fit with your family. That's why it's so important to do research before purchasing a puppy and to learn the good, the bad, and the ugly about the dog you're considering making a part of your family.

English bulldogs have a lot of pros that go along with them. They are known for their goofy personalities, and as you could see in Buckey's video they provide endless entertainment. Just watching the cute puppy tumble over at the beginning of the video made me laugh! Bulldogs love their humans and are a very loyal breed that can be great watch dogs (not guard dogs because they aren't the fastest movers, but they'll let you know when people are coming.) They're great with children and other animals and are very laid back and chill...they're the ultimate couch potatoes that will never turn down a nap. They aren't known to be barkers, though puppies let you know when they want something!

If you're an active family looking for a furry friend to take along on your outings, an English Bulldog might not make the best pet for your since even as adults, they spend at least half the day sleeping. They are pretty lazy dogs that can be playing and running around one minute, then snoring the next minute...literally.

Unfortunately, these dogs can be a very expensive breed to own because of their health problems. Their skin and wrinkles make grooming a constant, and often lead to food allergies, which can be costly. Did I mention they snore (and pass gas) often and loudly?

English Bulldogs are undeniably cute and have lots of pros and cons just like any pet does. You just need to weigh them and decide if this breed is the right one for your family.
