Driverless car narrowly misses woman and kitten

A driverless car narrowly missed a woman and a kitten standing outside a jewellery store in southern China.

CCTV footage, filmed in the city of Shangrao in Jiangxi Province, shows a woman sweeping the floor outside a jewellery shop and a kitten playing when a black car suddenly crashes onto the pavement.

The kitten and the woman flee to avoid being hit by the vehicle, which then bumps into the wall of the shop.

According to reports, the owner of the car had left his vehicle to get some breakfast, and forgot to put on the handbrake.

Fortunately, only the shop was damaged and no one was injured.
