If there is one thing — one very important thing — that you need to decide, it's whether or not you want an active dog or a couch potato. There's a real difference. Even dogs need to learn this lesson, sometimes the hard way. Like one doodle online, who realized a little too late that he didn't want to go on a run with his aunt and her athletic Labrador.

The 28-year-old auntie from Florida shared just a small snippet of their run — and the way that the dog just gave up.

The woman, who goes by Twist online, and her dog Mav are in good shape. She frequently shares their running videos online. But the same can't be said about all the members of their family — including her sister's dog who was absolutely winded and had to stop pretty quickly.

"POV: Your sister's dog wanted to go join us for a run but quickly regretted his decision," she wrote in the video's caption.

They were literally "two-tenths" of the way through their run when the dog stopped.

"These two are built very different," she joked in the caption.

Who amongst us can deny ever starting a run and deciding mere minutes into it that we weren't really feeling it? People in the comments section understood. "He's like 'oh y'all meant like run run,'" joked one person. "He said, 'I'm not that kind of dog,'" someone else teased. "We're done. I've seen enough," joked another commenter. "He said 'oh naw take me back.' He’d rather chill on the couch," teased one person.

Best ‘Lazy’ Dogs

If you're vibe is less early morning runs and more sleeping in until 10, you might want to get yourself a lazy dog. And we say lazy with love! There are some dogs that don't need a lot of activity. Here are just a few that would prefer a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood over a marathon.

Chihuahuas might be small and have big personalities, but most of the time they like to keep it chill. They're happiest in your lap or padding around the house.

Pomeranians are another dog breed that don't need a to of activity to be healthy. In fact just 30 minutes a day will keep these guys in tip top shape.

English Bulldogs are sweet, but stubborn when it comes to exercise. You'll never see these guys sprinting after a ball in the park. Part of this is due to their breathing issues. So if you want to pal around with your Bulldog remember to take it slow.

All of these breeds are loving, warm, playful pups — just please don't make them run.
